Welcome to nature camping Fazantenhof

Centrally located in the ♥ of the Netherlands, hidden in the forest of the “Utrechtse Heuvelrug”, between the two villages of Hollandsche Rading and Lage Vuursche, lays our campsite in a soft sloping green landscape. On the border of the province of North-Holland and Utrecht, adjacent to the Goois Natuurreservaat, the Stichtse Vecht, the Loosdrechtse Plassen and the Eemland, our campsite lays in the middle of nature.

Camping underneath the trees, waking up to the sounds of many different birds whistling and sitting in the sun when she warms up our grounds. Ensured of peace and quiet, because of bad cell reception and being at the end of paved roads, the campsite is ideal for those who like tranquillity. Back to nature, without the sounds of a busy city.

Our campsite is also very ideally situated for the more active people who like to walk and cycle. Directly on both sides of the campsite are multiple marked trails for hiking or cycling. For suggestions regarding hiking, cycling or other activities we refer you to our area page, or you can get different laminated cycling or hiking routes at the reception.

Also for families with little children our campsite is ideal, mainly around the middle of the camping ground, with the sandbox and swings. On the almost car-free terrain, it’s safe to play for your little ones. In our experience, we have learned that children up to the age of 10 can entertain themselves quite fine during their stay.

On the middle of the camping field, near the main sanitary building, there is an bower, this bower is mainly intended to shelter people camping in tents, when it rains, but off course the bower is open to all people. Next to the bower we have two jeu de boules tracks and a table tennis table. Also you can use the opportunity to BBQ on our stone BBQ or you can make a campfire in front of the bower. The camping terrain is almost 2 hectare in size and has 60 places along the sides for caravans and campers and on the middle of the field 25 pitches for large or small tents to camp recreational during the season. At the end of the terrain several pitches combined are intendent for group bookings.

On almost all the caravan pitches it is possible to connect you to electricity (10 ampere/euro plug). Since 2021 we also have comfort pitches with a water connection and drain for grey water and we have multiple tent pitches where we can connect you to electricity (6 ampere/euro plug).

On our camping there are no facilities for permanent stay or other ways of living. Also we cannot place any new mobile homes.
